Acorn Pipe Systems Inc. Releases “The AcornPipe System” Software for Piping.
STONY PLAIN, AB - Acorn Pipe Systems Inc. announced today that “The AcornPipe System” software for piping, is now released for general sales, following beta testing
AcornPipe - The Piping Project Control software package, continues to be the industry standard for creating pipe fabrication drawings, as well as introducing new possibilities, such as:

Offset boxes resize automatically to accommodate anything inside of them.
Offsets will allow you to enter the run, rise, and degrees of roll to your angle
The AcornPipe program will do the trig function, so you can dimension your offset box by simply clicking on the box side.
Spec setup, and copying of specs from one job to another, is much easier.
Resize fittings with the up/down arrow keys.
Move the item numbers and weld boxes with the mouse.
Base your spec on a CS, Stainless, Victaulic, OD, or ID type of system.
And one of the best - copy and paste branches, along the header pipe, with or without dimensions.
The use of Keystroke combinations:
Control - W - Displays weld map
Control E - Edit BOM and many other Quick Keys facilitate the creation of drawings.
AcornPipe uses computer keyboard's F keys:
F6 Dimension Branches
F7 - Dimension offset box
F9 - Select and move Item Tags and Weld Tags and several other functions.

With a much larger library of fittings and images, developers are now able to add complex piping configurations to their drawings and projects without having to be advanced software users or programmers.
Create a Client File to work with, add the Specifications and then click your way through the menus onscreen to create your Isometric Drawing. The AcornPipe System will ship with a variety of projects wizards and professionally designed layout templates to help accelerate project development.

AcornPipe System Pricing and Availability
The AcornPipe System was issued for release on Aug. 1, 2003 with pricing of $360 US/Canadian funds per package which will include 100 drawing files. Additional drawing files can be purchased at 1.20 US per drawing in a minimum amount of 100. Shipping and applicable taxes will be added.
